Breaking-2019-presidential-debate-candidates-date-schedule-and-details; The long awaited Presidential debate has been scheduled to start on 14th November, 2018 at Transcorp Hilton Hotel Abuja and will be broadcast by all BON according to John Momoh the BON Chairman. The presidential debate which initially seemed unrealistic has been resolve to stand.
Prof Yemi Osibanjo of the ruling All progressive Congress party APC will be debating with Atiku Abubabar’s running mate Peter Obi of the Major opposition party, People’s Democratic Party PDP among many other running mate of the different political party that have presidential candidate on 14th of December at Transcorp Hilton Hotel Abuja. This he said when he was addressed a group of Peoples who paid him courtesy visit.
Below are few candidates and their political party that would participate in Presidential debate ;

- Alhaji Atiku Abubabar of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP)

While addressing the journalist on Thursday 22 of November, 2018 the Chief Executive Officer of Channel TV and Chairman Broadcasting Organization of Nigeria BON, John Momoh, he disclosed that vice president candidates will take their debate on 14th December, 2018 at Transcorp Hilton Hotel Abuja.
When interviewed, he stated that the debate will focus mainly on issues that are most important to the people of Nigeria which include; economic stability, provision of electricity, job creation, securing of health care to every Nigerian, outstanding excellence in Nigeria schools and ensure security and safety of All Nigerians. Momoh who said that the debate will be broadcast live by all BON members used the opportunity to disclose that, efforts are being put to forward towards the 9th National Assembly, with the bill for establishment if the National commission for Presidential debate, which will make compulsory for every presidential candidate to engage in debate ahead of all presidential election.
When pressed further Momoh said; ” just a few weeks ago, I had the opportunity to address a group of Peoples who were on courtesy visit to our global headquarters in Lagos, I reiterated a well known fact that our country, in spite of its numerous potential, is faced with social crisis that began way back to military era, but which had transcended democratic rule since army went back to barracks. Today we are experiencing health care crisis that threaten our women and children, an education crises that threaten our children’s future, a power crisis that is crippling every aspect of our economic live and a more fundamental crisis – a crisis of corruption, accountability and security. ”
” one other major challenge facing us as a nation is the National Unity, as centrifugal tension, resources control and self determination, ethnicity-based identity politics and religious cleavages have developed national consciousness.
Many of these problems are decision made by our leaders behind closed doors, other times openly from regulations removed when no one was looking or from reckless action takilen while authorities turned a blind eye”
